Erdogan: Istanbul talks contribute to resolving conflict between Russia, Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he considers the talks between Russian and Ukraine in Istanbul a contribution to the peace process, Report informs via Russian media outlets.
Erdogan shared these insights during the meeting with Russian President in Tianjin, China.
"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Türkiye's efforts to end the war in Ukraine and ensure a just and sustainable peace continue. In his opinion, the talks in Istanbul have contributed to the peace process," reads the statement by Erdogan's office regarding the outcomes of the meeting with Putin.
On July 23, Istanbul hosted the third round of talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations. The parties discussed the exchange of prisoners of war, memorandums, and a meeting of leaders.
