Ebola cases in DR Congo rise to 452

The number of confirmed Ebola infections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has surpassed 450, authorities said.
Report informs, citing Interfax and EFE, a total of 452 cases have been confirmed so far, with 82 deaths recorded.
Health officials warned that the outbreak continues to spread rapidly across the country.
The epicenter remains in the eastern Ituri province, after which the virus has spread to neighboring provinces, where 19 additional cases have been recorded, including two fatalities.
