Earthquake hits Japan

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake shook southeast of the Japanese island of Hokkaido, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the Japanese Meteorological Agency, the epicenter was located 60 km underwater. There were no immediate reports on casualties or damage. No tsunami alert was issued.
