COVID-19 death toll exceeds 93,000 in one week

More than 93,000 people died of coronavirus worldwide last week, which is a growth of 6% compared to the previous seven days, the World Health Organization said in its weekly epidemiological bulletin published in Geneva, Report informs, citing TASS.
As many as 93,523 deaths were recorded from April 26 until May 2.
Moreover, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide has exceeded 153.18 million, after the global caseload surged by more than 644,000 in one day.
