Coronavirus: Brazil postpones Rio carnival parade

In February in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the carnival held every year is delayed due to COVID-19, Report informs, referring to Globo.
According to George Castaneiro, head of the city's Independent League of Samba Schools, the carnival timing is not yet known: "We are waiting for the news when we will have the vaccine."
Simultaneously, organizers emphasize it is too early to say an alternative date for the carnival. So, preparation for this event takes time.
