Canada eyes expanding sanctions against Russia

Canada's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced plans to expand sanctions against Russia, Report informs.
Official Ottawa will expand the sanctions on Russia's gas, oil and chemical sectors, including industrial production.
Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie announced on Saturday that Canada intends to impose additional sanctions against Russia, the ministry said in a statement.
The Canadian authorities have already expanded the sanctions against the Russian Federation and added 29 persons and 15 organizations to the list. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' has also been included in the list.
