British Parliament ratifies agreement with EU

The British Parliament has accepted a free trade agreement with the European Union, Report informs, citing TASS.
Earlier, the document was approved by the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Then it was returned to the House of Commons and adopted in the second reading.
For the agreement to enter into force, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland must sign it.
On December 24, after months of tense negotiations on the terms of cooperation in the post-Brexit period, the parties agreed on free trade and other issues.
