Boko Haram leader killed in Nigeria

Over the past 72 hours, audio recordings of terrorists obtained by Nigerian special services indicate that Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has been killed, Daily Nigerian newspaper published, referring to the National Intelligence Society.
Report informs, citing TASS, that Shekau was killed in a shootout with members of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) on May 19.
A small group surrounded Shekau at his headquarters in the Sambisa forest.
He refused to surrender. In 2013, the United States offered a reward of $ 7 million for his arrest.
