US President Joseph Biden, who is on a visit to Israel, made a statement during his joint statement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Report informs, citing The Times of Israel.
Biden tells Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he is “here for a simple reason – I want the people of Israel and the people of the world to know where the United States stands.”
“Hamas does not represent all the Palestinian people and has brought them only suffering.”
He says the US will make sure Israel has what it needs to defend itself.
He concludes with a message to Israelis calling their bravery and commitment “stunning.”
