175 Taliban militants killed in Afghanistan

The Afghan army has killed at least 175 Taliban militants over the past 24 hours and injured another 84, Report informs with reference to the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan.
According to the ministry, military operations were carried out in the provinces of Nangarhar, Paktika, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Jowzjan, Samangan, Sar-e Pol, Helmand, Badakhshan, Kunduz, and Baghlan.
The security forces found and defused nine improvised explosive devices installed by radicals on the roads.
