Day of Restoration of Independence to be working day

October 18 will be a working day in Azerbaijan, a source in the parliament told Report.

October 18, the Day of Restoration of Independence, will be celebrated every year. But that day will be a working day.

Notably, a new bill "On Independence Day" has been developed in Azerbaijan.

May 28, Republic Day, is renamed and declared Independence Day, and October 18 is named Day of Restoration of Independence. These days will be celebrated every year as a holiday.

The bill will be discussed at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy and State Building today.
