MoD: Precise strikes inflicted on positions of illegal Armenian armed groups

From March 8 to March 9, members of the illegal Armenian armed detachment in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Khojaly and Goranboy districts using various caliber weapons.

The Defense Ministry told Report that the Azerbaijan Army Units stationed in these directions took adequate retaliatory measures.

Currently, the situation in these directions is stable, the Azerbaijan Army Units fully control the operational situation.

"We state that the Azerbaijani Army does not target civilian infrastructure, but only strikes at the positions of illegal Armenian armed groups," Defense Ministry said.
