Training program of Report Media School's 20th group completed

The training program of the 20th group of Report Media School, which operates under Report News Agency, has been completed.
Report informs that certificates were presented to 11 journalists who learned the specifics of journalism at the agency, prepared news stories, interviews, reports, investigative articles, visual reports, and participated in monitoring and surveys.
Fuad Huseynaliyev, director of Report News Agency, said the students worked hard during the program:
"The members of the 20th group of Report Media School managed to successfully cope with a considerable amount of work this time. They made serious progress in preparing news stories. Whenever possible, we involve selected students in internships at the agency. Two graduates in this group were awarded certificates with distinction."
Namiq Mayilov, editor-in-chief of Report, noted the students" dynamic activity during the training:
"The students were active in completing assignments on time. They precisely fulfilled the requirement not only to write news correctly, but also to prepare it promptly. The media is a passport to life; a person who can demonstrate skills here will be able to work anywhere. Every journalist working in the press is directly involved in the processes. I think there can be no better feeling than this."
Ismayil Rafigoglu, head and trainer of Report Media School, shared his views on the group:
"The core of the group consisted of journalism students from Azerbaijan University of Languages. The students of Report Media School-20 stood out for both their foreign language skills and strong writing abilities. During this period, they completed many assignments and we held a number of interesting events. We worked to improve their ability to prepare news and develop a sense for information."
Rafigoglu also said a number of additional training sessions were held during the training process:
"Several leading journalists of Report met with the students. Interesting training sessions were held with editor-in-chief Namiq Mayilov; deputy editor-in-chief Emil Guliyev; digital marketing manager Javid Osmanov; sports department editor Kanan Hasanov; domestic policy department editor Elgun Mansimov; head of the multimedia department and digital marketing specialist Ilkin Ahmadov; and evening shift editor Ilkin Najafzade.
Meetings were also held with well-known figures such as Aygun Ahmadova, editor-in-chief of Valyuta.az and journalist; Ilgar Rasul, writer, publicist and journalist; Ilham Tumas, TV presenter, screenwriter, director and journalist; Sevda Sultanova, film critic and culture writer; and Agil Abbas, MP, writer-publicist and Honored Journalist."
The head of Report Media School also spoke about the events attended by the students:
"During the training, we watched the play ‘Shukriyya' at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre, as well as Giuseppe Verdi's operas ‘La Traviata' and ‘Il Trovatore' at the concert hall of the Opera Studio under the Baku Music Academy. The students also participated in an event dedicated to the 120th anniversary of People's Poet Samad Vurgun at the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan as part of the ‘Young Poets' project."
Training sessions have been held at Report Media School, which operates under Report News Agency, since 2018. The aim of the media school is to train professional personnel in Azerbaijan's media sector, introduce young journalists to modern trends used by the global press, reveal the potential of people interested in journalism and wishing to work in this field, and help them improve their practical knowledge and skills in the profession. Dozens of young people have graduated from Report Media School so far. They now work in various media organizations across the country.
Report News Agency has been operating as part of Global Media Group since 2021. The Media Academy established there is an educational platform that offers broad opportunities to young people wishing to build a career in modern media. The academy brings together various media schools and provides students with quality education and practical experience.
