Media tour held in Khankandi on occasion of State Sovereignty Day

The Ministry of Culture organized a media tour in the city of Khankandi to mark September 20 - State Sovereignty Day - as well as within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty."

According to Report, media representatives visited the Congress and Business Center, Victory Park, Victory Museum, Karabakh University, and other key institutions in the city.

Shamkhal Adigozalov, an employee of the Public Relations Department of the Service for Restoration, Construction, and Management in Khankandi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, provided detailed information to journalists about the city"s infrastructure.

During the trip, journalists also participated in events dedicated to September 20 - Khankandi City Day - which were held for the first time on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankandi, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts.

On September 19, 2024, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree establishing State Sovereignty Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is now celebrated annually on September 20.
