"Last time I came to Shusha with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During this visit, the work done in Shusha gave us hope for the future," said Shamil Ayrim, a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and head of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group.
He said they are pleased with the planned repair and restoration work in Shusha: "As you know, there is a 6-hour road between Shusha and Baku. The Victory Road to Shusha is scheduled to be handed over in late September. After that, we will visit Shusha with large delegations. I believe that the pearl of Karabakh, Shusha, will continue to speak more of its name as a cultural center of the Caucasus and Turkish geography."
