Katalin Bihari: Hungarian companies ready to invest in restoration of Karabakh

Hungarian companies are ready to invest in the reconstruction of Karabakh, Katalin Bihari, deputy state secretary at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said at the first Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025), Report informs.

"The flagship project we are implementing in Azerbaijan is related to energy, but our companies are also ready to invest in infrastructure projects, including the reconstruction of Karabakh. We are proud to be partners in this area," Bihari emphasized.

She noted that Hungary's economic success directly depends on its trade and investment strategy, and economic diplomacy is at the center of the country's foreign economic policy.

Furthermore, Hungary is actively working to diversify its exports and increase the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in international trade.

According to Bihari, last year, Hungary became the third largest investor in Azerbaijan, a significant achievement.
