Cooperation between Azerbaijan and US customs services discussed in Baku

Development prospects of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and US customs services have been discussed.

Report informs with reference to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan that the discussions were held during a meeting between the US Certified Trade Mission on the Middle Corridor and representatives of the State Customs Committee.

At the meeting, information was provided about the project for simplifying customs procedures along the Middle Corridor using digital solutions, and business relations established with customs services of regional countries to contribute to increasing the attractiveness of the corridor.

The mission's purpose is to familiarize US private sector representatives with existing opportunities in trade, energy, infrastructure, and logistics in Middle Corridor countries, evaluate cooperation prospects in relevant fields, and establish connections.
