Command of Armenian military unit offered to surrender

The Azerbaijani Military Command proposed the Armenian command not to resist in Aghdara settlement to prevent the destruction of the garrison and increase casualties of the Armenian armed forces in this direction. The Azerbaijani side also said to lay down their weapons and surrender, Report says, citing Defense Ministry.
"The command of the Azerbaijani Army also states that the treatment of prisoners of war and civilian hostages will be conducted under the requirements of the Geneva Convention and other norms of international law. "In case of any resistance, every armed person will be neutralized by us," the statement said.
