Zaur Mikayilov: Several agreements to be signed during Baku Water Week

A number of important agreements and contracts are expected to be reached and signed within the framework of the 2nd International Exhibition and Conference for Water Management - Baku Water Week, Zaur Mikayilov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA), told Report.

According to Mikayilov, cooperation with Saudi Arabia's ACWA Power company is of particular importance in this regard: "An agreement on cooperation with ACWA Power has already been reached. Currently, the details of the contract are being clarified. The signing of this document is planned for the near future."

Mikayilov stated that extensive discussions will also be held with international partners at the forum: "Many of our international partners are participating here. Our goal is to benefit from global experience in solving problems in this field. Various collaborations, contracts, and agreements are planned. Some of them will be publicly announced, while others will be surprises."
