Vahid Hajiyev: Post-conflict reconstruction is not only about rebuilding infrastructure

Azerbaijan"s experience clearly demonstrates that post-conflict reconstruction is far more than simply rebuilding infrastructure, Vahid Hajiyev, Special Representative of the President in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, said during the panel session "Peace-Positive Climate Action through Urban Solutions in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Areas" within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, according to Report.

"It is about creating safe, sustainable, and economically viable communities to which people can return with dignity and confidence in the future. Through thoughtful planning, the introduction of green energy, digital solutions, and economic development, we are building resilient settlements in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals," Vahid Hajiyev emphasized.
