We are particularly pleased to see strong participation of Azerbaijani representatives across all stakeholder groups. Their involvement reflects our national commitment to inclusive urban development and provides valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and strengthened cooperation. We believe Baku can be a place where global dialogue transforms into local action."
The chairman added that the outcomes of these meetings will have strategic importance both locally and internationally: "The assemblies' results will help shape broader WUF13 discussions, contribute to the Baku Call to Action, strengthen implementation of the New Urban Agenda, and support wider global processes such as Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 and climate action.
