Resumption of Baku-Tbilisi railway communication discussed

Discussions are underway to restore passenger rail links between Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Georgian bureau of Report informs referring to the Georgian Railways JSC.
It was noted that the movement of passenger trains in the direction of Tbilisi-Baku-Tbilisi will be restored after the opening of Azerbaijan’s land borders.
The movement of passenger trains between the capitals of Georgia and Azerbaijan has been suspended since March last year due to the pandemic.
