Parras: Costa Rica develops mechanism to protect against climate threats

Costa Rica is developing a new code for building infrastructure that is resilient to climate change, stated Laura Parras, a representative of the Costa Rican Federation of Engineers and Architects (CFIA), at WUF13 in Baku, according to Report.
She said it is important for the country to integrate sustainability criteria already at the design and planning stages.
She also added that the new standards will encourage innovation and develop technical skills.
