Gonzalez: Mexico returning from Baku with valuable ideas and experience

The Mexican delegation is returning from the World Urban Forum in Baku with a wealth of progressive ideas and valuable experience, Rocio Lombera González, General Coordinator for International Affairs of Mexico City, said at the closing ceremony of WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.

"Mexico is returning home, first and foremost, with new ideas inspired by the discussions and crucial lessons learned, which are already beginning to be translated into concrete actions. We will use this enormous wealth of knowledge to prepare for the next forum – WUF14, which we will have the immense honor and responsibility to host in Mexico City," González emphasized.

She also added that the high bar set by Azerbaijan places significant obligations on the organizers of the next global forum.

"We pledge to live up to this legacy and demonstrate at WUF14 the same generosity and openness that Baku has shown us all," González concluded.
