Environmental approaches to urban planning promoted in Azerbaijan schools

An interactive event titled "Urban Gardening Initiative at School" has been held as part of Baku Urban Planning Week.

Report informs, citing the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture's post on X, that the initiative aimed to promote environmental approaches in urban planning, raise awareness of the role of green spaces in the urban environment and develop children's understanding of a sustainable urban environment.

As part of the event, an urban gardening space was presented at the school. An exchange of views was also held with children on preserving ecological balance in the urban environment, the importance of green infrastructure and sustainable urban development.
