The main goal of the single window approach is to simplify information exchange between government agencies, business entities, and other participants in international trade operations, accelerate processes, and ensure service monitoring, Ehtiram Guliyev, Project Manager at the Digital Logistics Platform (DLP), said during the 2nd Caspian International Transport, Transit and Logistics Forum in Baku, Report informs.
He explained that this approach allows for process optimization, reduction of paper-based documentation, and more efficient use of resources:
"Entrepreneurs will gain access to the required documents for international trade operations through a single application on our platform. Currently, business representatives can use the Trade Guide subsystem to review execution stages for over 7,000 products in import, export, and transit processes, and they can also obtain the Ministry of Agriculture's fumigation act electronically. In addition, vehicle owners now have the opportunity to apply for the E-Permit (Electronic Permit Form)."
Guliyev added that participants in foreign economic activity (FEA) can generate the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) via DLP.
The official also noted that work is nearly complete on enabling electronic issuance of the phytosanitary certificate, export declaration, and hygienic certificate, which will soon be available. These services aim to strengthen interaction among FEA participants and accelerate processes.
He emphasized that the next stage of digital transformation will focus on the digitalization of import and transit processes and the provision of relevant services through the platform.
