Chobanzada: Digitalization makes urban life easier in Azerbaijan

Digitalization is making urban life more convenient in Azerbaijan, Orkhan Chobanzada, a member of the Association of Azerbaijan Construction Materials Manufacturers Public Union, said during an event at the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

Chobanzada emphasized that the human factor is the key element in city development: "The main factor in urban growth is people. If we want our cities to develop with both historical monuments and modern buildings, people's comfort and living conditions must be prioritized. When building a city, we must first consider how people will live there and how their daily needs will be met. Infrastructure must be properly planned, and service quality must be high. Accessibility within the city, proximity to markets, restaurants, banks, and other services must also be taken into account."

He also pointed out that serious progress has been observed in Azerbaijan in recent years, especially in digitalization and innovation.
