Azerbaijan to create Digital Trade Hub information system

An information system called the Digital Trade Hub is being created in Azerbaijan, Aytan Turabova, a representative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, said at the 2nd Caspian International Forum on Transport, Transit and Logistics in Baku.

According to Report, she said that infrastructure projects strengthen Azerbaijan's role as a transit center, but the sustainability and competitiveness of transport corridors depend not only on physical infrastructure but also on the level of digitalization. In this regard, the implementation of digital solutions and procedures in the transport system is ongoing.

Turabova noted that an important step was the presidential decree adopted at the end of 2025 on the digitalization of import, export, transit, and logistics procedures. Within this framework, work is underway to create the Digital Trade Hub information system, which will bring together freight forwarders, cargo owners, government agencies, and business entities in a unified digital environment.
