Azerbaijan Railways increases freight traffic by 3%

In 2021, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) carried 15.058 million tons of cargo (+2.9%), Report informs.

Last year, international cargo transportation (import-export) accounted for 7.435 million tons or 49.4% (- 3.2%).

During the year, the volume of transit cargo increased by 11% to 4.585 million tons, while domestic shipment by 7.85% to 3.038 million tons.
