Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan establish joint venture to acquire dredging vessel

Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON Holding) and Samruk‑Kazyna Invest LLC, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan's Samruk‑Kazyna JSC, have signed a shareholders' agreement to establish a joint venture for the purchase of a dredging vessel and the implementation of dredging operations, Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, wrote on X, Report informs.

The signing ceremony took place during Nabiyev's meeting in Azerbaijan with Nurlan Jakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk‑Kazyna JSC, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan.

"The meeting also discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in transport and logistics. We exchanged views on the results achieved and the main objectives within the framework of the joint dredging project in Azerbaijani and Kazakh ports," Nabiyev said.
