Aydin Karimov: Trabzon becomes Shusha's 10th twin city

Trabzon has become the 10th city with which Shusha has established international twinning and cooperation relations, stated Aydin Karimov, the Special Representative of the President in Shusha district, in his statement to journalists within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Report informs.

He expressed great pride in this and thanked Turkish colleagues who came to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum.

He noted that the document was signed within the framework of the forum and this event is considered a significant step for both Shusha and Trabzon: "By creating such conditions, they turned this signing process into a special event for both cities. It is planned to develop relations between the cities based not only on a formal basis but on real cooperation."

Karimov noted that the ties will develop within the framework of the traditional Türkiye-Azerbaijan brotherhood and friendship, both between the cities and the cultures: "Both cities have a lot to learn from each other. At the same time, there are numerous projects that we will implement together."
