International air cargo transportation down by over 20% in Azerbaijan

In 2024, 79,211 tons of international cargo worth $5.55 billion was transported by air across Azerbaijan, according to the State Customs Committee, Report informs.
These figures are 20.5% and 2.8 times less respectively compared to 2023.
Last year, 64,500 tons (25.6% less) of cargo worth $346.7 million (1.8% more) was exported by air transport, and 14,711 tons (14.1% more) of cargo worth $5.2 billion (3.3 times more) was imported.
