Residents of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park sell products worth nearly 5.2B manats since 2015

From 2015 through the first half of 2025, residents of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park (SCIP) sold products worth approximately 14.4 billion manats, according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, Report informs.
Of this total, nearly 5.2 billion manats came from exports.
In the first half of 2025 alone, sales exceeded 1.1 billion manats, with nearly 545 million manats accounting for exports-representing an almost 20% increase compared to the same period last year.
There has been significant growth in the production of chemical industry products in recent years. Between January and July 2025, Azerbaijan's chemical industry output grew by 10.7% year-on-year, reaching over 955 million manats, with SCIP playing a major role in this increase.
To date, over 900 exemption certificates have been issued to Park residents, helping them save more than 400 million manats on the import of machinery and technological equipment.
SCIP currently hosts 39 resident companies, with an investment portfolio exceeding 6 billion manats. Of these, 28 are actively operating. The total investment made by residents so far exceeds 5.5 billion manats, leading to the creation of more than 6,300 permanent jobs.
The Park has achieved notable export success with products such as construction chemicals, steel and polymer pipes, lubricants, polymers, urea, various types of cables, glass panels, and ceramic tiles. These products, branded under "Made in Azerbaijan", have been exported to over 70 countries worldwide.
