Over 2,300 passenger cars manufactured in Azerbaijan in past 8 months

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan manufactured 2,309 passenger cars-318 fewer than in the same period last year, marking a 12.1% decline, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

As of September 1, the country had a stock of 16 finished passenger vehicles.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan manufactured machinery, equipment, vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers worth 397.4 million manats ($233.7 million). Compared to the previous year, production of machinery and equipment increased by 0.7%, while output of vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers dropped by 24.8%.

A total of 353 tractors were manufactured countrywide, reflecting a 14.1% year-on-year decrease. As of September 1, the stock of finished tractors stood at 9 units.

Additionally, 220 trucks were manufactured in the first eight months of the year-a 43.6% decline compared to the same period in 2024. By September 1, the stock of finished trucks had reached 61 units.
