Footwear production up 8% in Azerbaijan

In January-March of this year, Azerbaijan produced 137.3 million manats worth of textile, clothing, leather and leather products, as well as footwear, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, compared to the same period last year, the production of leather and leather products, shoes increased by 8.2%, textile industry rose by 28%. A 1.1% decrease was observed in production of clothing.
