Export of Khazar cars to another country begins

Sales of Khazar cars produced in the Neftchala Industrial District of the Ministry of Economy will begin in Ukraine.

The first cars have already been delivered to this country and certified.

Although there is no exact information about their price, it is said that they will be offered at the same price as the Russian-made Lada cars. In Azerbaijan, these cars are sold between $8,000 and $10,000.

Khazar cars are produced by a joint venture between Azermash OJSC, the largest resident of the Neftchala Industrial District, and Iran Khodro. The plant was built under the agreement signed in August 2016 and was commissioned in March 2019 with the participation of the presidents of the two countries. The Azerbaijani side has a 75% stake and the Iranian side a 25% stake in the $15 million project.

The cars produced at the plant fully comply with Euro-5 and international safety standards.
