"I hope substantial changes will be in a few days that will allow Borjomi to resume operations," said Georgian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Report informs.
According to him, the most important thing is that the company can operate fully:
"The Georgian government has long been working in this direction. We work with both shareholders and international regulators to ensure that the company is not subject to international sanctions."
Production at two IDS Borjomi bottling plants has been suspended since April 30. The company faces sanctions and serious financial problems due to its Russian ownership.
