Azerbaijan starts exporting polyethylene to 5 more countries

In January-November last year, 128,844.68 tons (+29.77%) of polyethylene (a primary form) worth $ 160.092 million (+2.4 times) was exported from Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, 44,472 tons of polyethylene worth $ 59.469 million were exported to Russia, 28,914 tons worth $ 35.518 million to Turkey, 23,918 tons worth $ 23.265 million to China, 9,249 tons worth $ 11.724 million to Ukraine, and 8,028 tons worth $ 11.462 million to Lithuania.

After a one-year hiatus, supplies were resumed to Lithuania, after a year and 3-month break - to Iran, 4 years and 3 months - to the Czech Republic, and 4 years and 2 months - to Bulgaria. Last year, for the first time, Azerbaijan exported polyethylene to Mexico, Egypt, Poland, Serbia, and Slovakia.
