Tokyo 2020: 16 new coronavirus cases detected

At least 16 people at the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games tested positive for coronavirus over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases among those involved in the Games to 153, Report informs with reference to the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee.

According to the committee, three of the infected are athletes who are not accommodated in the Olympic Village.
