IOC to help athletes in Afghanistan obtain humanitarian visas

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will help athletes in Afghanistan to leave the country on humanitarian visas, President Thomas Bach told journalists, Report informs via foreign media.
According to him, the IOC will continue trying to help people in sport to receive humanitarian visas to leave the country: "There will be a special focus on the women and the girls who may be at risk due to the political situation.”
The Taliban have banned women from playing sports in Afghanistan.
