'I want to win every race I enter' – Azerbaijani cyclist celebrates historic GranFondo success

Azerbaijani cyclist Natalia Vallek claimed a historic win at the GranFondo race in Ankara, becoming the first athlete from her country to secure victory in this international competition.
Speaking to Report, Vallek credited her success to a combination of a well-structured training program and personal determination.
"This victory is the result of the program designed by my coach Musa Mikailzada and my own perseverance. The race was very challenging, with strong and ambitious competitors. I gave everything to ensure I could bring this win to my country and team," she said.
Looking ahead, Vallek outlined her goals for the future: "I want to win every race I enter. Achieving success requires giving your maximum effort, and any athlete who has reached one milestone should always strive for new heights."
Vallek completed the 91 km course, which included 1,300 meters of elevation gain, finishing ahead of all competitors and topping her age category as well.
Her victory marks a significant milestone in the history of Azerbaijani cycling.
