Five Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers advance to finals of 3rd CIS Games

Five Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers have reached the finals of the 3rd CIS Games.

According to Report, Abdulatif Musayev (53 kg), Rustam Gasimzada (58 kg), Nihad Rahimov (64 kg), Rasul Samadli (+98 kg), and Abubakir Huseynov (98 kg) all earned the right to compete for gold.

Meanwhile, Mikayil Amirov (71 kg) and Khazar Amrakhli (88 kg), who lost their semifinal bouts, will fight for bronze.

The contests are taking place at the Goygol Olympic Sports Complex.
