Azerbaijani minister joins International Judo Federation Executive Committee

The President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, Rashad Nabiyev, elected as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation (IJF).

Report informs that the decision was made at the IJF Congress held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.

The prestigious event was attended by representatives of national federations, continental unions and the international judo community.

The new composition of the International Judo Federation Executive Committee for 2025–2029 was also approved within the framework of the Congress. According to the results of the vote, President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation Rashad Nabiyev was elected as a member of the Executive Committee.

Marius Vizer, who was elected IJF president for a sixth term at the meeting, will lead the organization for the coming four years.
