Azerbaijan takes 18th place in EYOF medal table

Azerbaijan placed 18th in the medal standings at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.

Report informs that all seven medals (two gold, four silver, and one bronze) were won by members of the national judo team. A total of 33 athletes represented the country.

Azerbaijan showed the best result among the countries of the Caucasus. Georgia, which won one gold and six bronze medals, is in 24th place, and Armenia, with three bronze medals, is 33rd.
