Prosecutor General: Opening of Zangazur corridor is among strategic priorities

Against the backdrop of new geopolitical realities, one of the strategically important issues is the opening of the Zangazur corridor, Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated, Report informs.

He made the remark at the international roundtable conference titled "Safeguarding Sovereignty: The Status of the Prosecutor's Office in the Constitution", organized by the Prosecutor General's Office in Baku.

He noted that the project will not only establish a land connection between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, but also reshape the region's transport map and contribute significantly to economic and political integration:

"As President Ilham Aliyev emphasized, the Zangazur Corridor serves not only Azerbaijan's national interests but also holds major significance for international cooperation, trade relations, and global security."
