Former office head of Baku City Executive Power arrested

The Office Head at Baku City Executive Power Rasim Guliyev has been arrested, Report informs.
According to Bahruz Guliyev, Rasim Guliyev’s brother and head of “Ses” newspaper, R. Guliyev is charged under the Article #314-2.3 (Allocating land plots or allowing construction work in violation of the rules) and Article # 308.2 (Abusing official powers) of the Criminal Code.
B. Guliyev says they don’t agree with the decision and will appeal.
The editor-in-chief noted that R. Guliyev was detained on April 2 by officers of the Anti-Corruption Directorate with the Prosecutor General, and the court sentenced him to three months in prison.
