YouTube lost 72% of its market share in Azerbaijan over past 3 months

In August 2025, Instagram's share in Azerbaijan's social media market across all platforms (computers, mobile devices, and tablets) was 42.7%, according to Statcounter, Report informs.

This is 8.69 percentage points higher than in July and 17.21 percentage points higher compared to August 2024.

Facebook, which ranked second, had a market share of 30.91%, decreasing by 0.97 percentage points month-on-month and dropping by 13.07 percentage points year-on-year.

YouTube's market share in the next position stood at 10.27%, decreasing by 5.04 percentage points compared to July, while increasing by 2.20 percentage points over the year. Thus, this platform's market share has been decreasing for the third month in a row (the total decrease is 72%).

X, in fourth place, had a market share of 7.2%, increasing by 0.10 percentage points monthly and 1.30 percentage points annually.

Pinterest completes the top five with a 6.15% market share in August 2025. The social network's market share decreased by 0.91 percentage points compared to July and fell by 6.28 percentage points year-on-year.
