Xiaomi is developing a smartphone capable of charging up to 100 percent in a few minutes, according to GSMArena, Report informs, referring to RIA Novosti.
The smartphone will support 200W wired charging, as well as wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The device is geared towards the second half of the year, but it sounds very much like the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is expected earlier.
Last year, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra was the fastest-charging phone in 2020 with 120W wired charging. So far in 2021 the vivo iQOO 7 and nubia Red Magic 6 Pro have been able to match the 120W charging of last year's Xiaomi smartphone.
