WhatsApp plans to introduce feature necessary when changing smartphone

WhatsApp messenger is about to introduce an option that will make it easier to transfer chat history between iOS and Android devices, Report informs referring to the WABetaInfo website.

The function involves transferring dialogues, message history, received files and community subscriptions from one platform to another. Now migration is possible only with the use of third-party programs. The reason for this is that on Apple devices, the backup is saved to the iCloud cloud service, while Android devices back up the data to Google Drive.

The portability is in test mode and will appear in a WhatsApp update.
