New customs declaration login rules take effect in Azerbaijan from June 1

Starting June 1, changes to the procedure for submitting electronic trade declarations on the Smart Customs platform of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan have entered into force in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, under the new rules, logging into the system using a FIN (Personal Identification Number) and password is no longer available.

Citizens must now access the service through one of three electronic identification methods. Among the available options, the digital signature service SİMA İmza is presented as the fastest and most convenient solution.

Through SİMA İmza, users can obtain an electronic signature on their mobile device within minutes without requiring physical tokens or other hardware. The service enables secure access to customs services and uses facial recognition technology to provide remote, fast, and secure user identification.

The digital signature can be obtained free of charge through the SİMA İmza mobile application without visiting any service center.
